The Hart Hawks set their sights on another foothill victory as they come to Canyon High School to take on the Cowboys. The Hawks aim to extend their dominance in the league, seeking their sixth straight win, while the Cowboys seek their second win of the year.

Hart looked to get things started as they marched to the Cowboys’ seven-yard line, and Jacob Pisano started the scoring with this pass to Joshua Wagner as Canyon failed to get downfield.

Hart comes right back with a nice catch and run for Kadin Saalih,14-0 Hart.

Canyon, looking to get any offense going and right on Hart’s doorstep, Canyon’s quarterback, Carson Soria, gets a short pass over to Jonathan Chavez.

Instead of trying for the extra point, Canyon goes for the 2-point conversion, which is no good—14-6 Hawks.

From there, Hart just took over.

Then, with a minute left in the half, Pisano, eager to show off his wheels again, rushes in for 35 yards this time.

We enter the half, 28-6 Hart.

Fast forward to the end of the third, a handoff to star running back Matix Frithsmith, as he joins the party to extend the lead 35-6 on a short run.

A short-lived Canyon drive led to Hart getting the ball back, and to cap off his incredible night, Paisano takes it to the house on a 25-yard run.

 Hawks take the win 42-6.

“We’re going to try to get 16% better every day and work on finding a way to win and be 1-0 next week,” said Jake Goosen-Brown, Head Coach of the Hart Hawks.

“We’ve been trying to preach 1-0 every week, so that’s all we’re going to do.”

Canyon will enter a bye week as Hart looks to finish their year in what should be a thrilling season finale versus Valencia on the 24th.
