The Hart Hawks’ playoff run ends.
Hart traveled to Quartz Hill for a first-round CIF playoff matchup against the Royals. The Hawks struck first with a Michael Toner interception setting up a Matix Frithsmith touchdown, but Quartz Hill rallied to take control.
Despite a second late touchdown from Frithsmith, the Royals secured a 35-14 victory, ending Hart’s season.
The touchdown held extra meaning for Frithsmith, marking the final score of his Hart football career.
