Six Flags announces post-COVID-19 reopening plans

The next trip that guests make to Six Flags Magic Mountain might look a little different, as talk of the theme park expects to open its gates in mid-May.

CEO of Six Flags stated “the company is working on a health and safety plan for reponing”

The new procedure that will be in place is having face masks, temperature checks, and sanitation centers, along with a limitation on the number of riders allowed in the line.

Ahead of time, visitors will have to reserve tickets which, in turn, will help limit the number of people in the park.

“While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at the properties, the safety of our guest and team members is always our highest priority. We will continue to closely monitor this evolving situation.” Six Flags Magic Mountain park update.

Some of the social distancing rules will be required such as remaining six feet from one another and with floor markers to make it visible for guests. In addition, there will be fewer people admission to the rides and virtual queuing, which could be implemented in the next coming months.
